Chief Growth Officer, Director of Business Development
Back in 1994 John joined as VP of sales at a little known Montreal based company with a cutting edge technology that was to revolutionize production. The company was Discreet Logic and its product was Flame using giant Silicon Graphics supercomputers and specialized software. In fact Corbett’s pioneering company Click3X was one of John’s first customers. When Autodesk acquired Discreet, he became their VP of Worldwide sales and marketing before heading US sales at Avid. Three and a half years ago John, realizing the potential of virtualization, headed up sales at another pioneering company in virtual production, BeBop Technologies. To quote John, “I loved being in the very forefront of new technology. Peter and I have come full circle from giant supercomputers costing hundreds of thousand dollars to a technology that actually eliminates hardware. This is clearly the very future of our business. At WrkFlo, we’re aggregating an impressive suite of best-breed solutions – all revolving around virtualization”.
